About Our Awesome Team of Specialists
Tim Stephan
My name is Tim Stephan and I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. I went to Tates Creek schools and grew up a big Kentucky sports fan. I have been married to Jessica for 20 years and we have four kids Isaiah, Jackson, Elle and Owen. We’re a very active family and you can routinely see us at our kids sporting events and we love to travel. I love spending time with my family and love nature, coffee and sports! If I’m not at a sporting event, you can probably find me working on our old farm house fixer upper!
I have been with Trifecta since 2017 as a Wildlife Damage Management Specialist. I have loved working outdoors, developing relationships with new families, engaging with the wildlife and making aesthetically pleasing repairs to your home. I have always loved working with my hands and fixing things. I have experience in roofing, landscaping and carpentry and remodeling my own home! I always remember growing up being fascinated with how to build things whether with Lincoln logs, Legos or helping my dad build something.
I spent my college years at Centre College and graduated in 1999 with a Psychology Major. I played basketball for Centre as well and really enjoyed my experience there. I lead the conference in 3 point shooting percentage in 1998. After college, I worked as an assistant to the County Attorney in Nicholasville, KY. I learned a lot about law and people during that time but felt pulled in a different direction in working with people. I worked with students in Fayette County school system for a few years and began volunteering as a student leader at Crossroads Church. After a few months as a student leader, I was offered a job at Crossroads. I spent 16 years as Pastor of Youth at Crossroads Christian Church and helped lead and build a ministry of over 130 middle school students and 40 plus leaders. I love to meet people where they are, and help them move to their next step in their lives.
I have really enjoyed my transition into working with wildlife. I’m passionate about serving and developing relationships with and helping people. So it was an easy transition for me because at Trifecta one of our cornerstones as a company is to serve you well as if you were family. I had a client recently say to me as I was finishing up a job at their home, “Oh no! You are practically family now! We will miss you!!!” Nothing means more to me than hearing that from a client. As we spend time catching animals and doing repairs on your home, we really do develop daily communication and get to know you on a much more personal level!
I absolutely love driving around in my truck and seeing Lexington and the surrounding counties in a whole new way. I’ve also really enjoyed experiencing the four beautiful seasons of weather you get in Lexington in a whole new way. I get to buy tools for my job and work with great teammates who really value people and serving them well. I really believe in this career long-term as it allows such flexibility so I can be there for my wife and kids. If you see the white Trifecta truck with the full wrap all the way up to the front doors, you know it’s me probably sipping coffee, listening to sports and looking forward to my next detective work at someone’s home!
